: Intercooler connecting material help Brent 03-13-2002, 02:13 PM Hi all-Just about have my gti-r intercooler front mounted and all the piping made(allmost on the piping). What i'm wondering is if i can connect this with radiator hose? I would perfer the silcon but nobody around me sells it. There is a group buy going on for silicone hose I think... do a search for "Silicone Hose group buy" Rockwood 03-13-2002, 04:59 PM you can use pipe connectors from home depot or lowe's. they are rubber, 3" long (approx) and have a hose clamp on either side included. they come in many sizes, but i would recommend getting them i size smaller than it indicates. get the 1.5" instead of 2" as this indicates MINUMUM size.
