Hey guys I'm getting ready to replace my OEM battery. I was wondering if the Westco has that little crevice for the clamp in the bottom front like the OEM one?

I can't tell from the pics I see online. I am not going to buy it if I have to convert to top mount hold downs. Does anyone know the dimensions of the Westco?

BTW, my dealer sells the OEM battery for $69 and says while the stock one is a Panasonic battery, the Nissan replacement is an Interstate. I have no experience with Interstate.

no, unfortunately it doesn't.

IIRC, when i measured two weeks ago it was 5"x 8", roughly. i am currently working on a custom battery tray. but you can do what i'm doing for the time being. i just pushed the Westco all the way towards the passenger side of the tray, then used some screws to hold it in place. i put like two screws (3/4" wood screws) on the driver side and the back side of the battery tray. if you screw 'em in so half of the screw is sticking up then that'll hold it in place.
