This may just be me, but i got atermarker bulbs
(99 SE-L) had um in for a while. now 1 of them
keeps going out....its not the bulb its the connecter
*** when its out my highbeam light comes on inside
and i get out and push mah connector into the bulb more
(or wiggle it a little) and it goes on....untill i drive a lil
and it goes back out....i think maybe i fried my wire.... *** it looks
kinda ugly, it sux....anyone else have this problem?
know how to fix it?

Anyone know if....Nissan service told me 1 time that
having aftermarketbulbs will burn the connectors, so
they know i had the bulbs...im thinkin if i go in and say
to them replace it *** its warrenty they will be like....
"we told u not to it, go blah urself"
u's think im right?

are you using anything higher than 55w bulbs? if so, that can be it. anything higher, even the 85w ones, can melt the connectors.

i personally haven't use any aftermarket bulbs. i just know it because of my friends' experiences

Replace/fix the conector and then go get some PIAA bulbs. You do know how to solder don't you. If not get some help.

yeah thats the hotter aftermarket bulb syndrome... the new sockets cost like $10 each and are pretty easy to reconnect.

I just bought an aftermarket headlight harness which can handle these high wattage bulbs. It costs about $40 and took me 30 mins to install.

I have replaced my drivers side harness 4 times in the past year.
where did you find heavy duty unit? I run 55watt blue blubs. My light went out 2 days ago. Sure would like a better fix.

$34.95 + shipping.

The harness comes with relays and draw power directly from the battery. It's a simple fix. Right now, I am using 80/100W bulbs and it works fine except there is no high beam. I think it may cause by my original 9007 light socket. Hey, but it's 100% brighter than before.
