I have a 92 G20, I bought the car for $800, was told it had a cracked head, found out all it was is a bad thermostat....but now the car wont start. the starter works just fine, makes an odd noise though( will be replace), I have spark, and fuel (strong smell during start up) but i have checked and can hear the pump prime...but the car wont start...it struggles, cant really check the timing, plugs and wires are still in good condition, and have checked all fuses and relays...what could it be? Mabey a bad head gasket?? Leakdown and compression test came out good, 150 on all cylinders, and when the engine turns I get 2puffs and 1 to 2 suctions out of the exhaust? can someone please help me?!!??:confused:

How long did it sit for? Sometimes the injectors stick give each one a good tap. Check spark at each plug. The other thing is the ignition conrol module that always seems to be the problem on external coil cars.

the car has been sitting for atleast 6 months I know that..where would the control module be on an SR? this is my first SR ever, I'm used to the KA series and the GA16, and CA...never had the chance till now to have the SR? anything, especially pics would help....Thanks for the reply!!
