Just wondering if you all know the difference between 98' and the other years. Saw in Road and Track or Car and Driver(can't remember) that a 98' ran a 16.5 1/4 mile. It seemed pretty slow(others are 15.5-16 even), thought maybe the writers are a bit chunky. I heard it doesn't have lim. slip diff. but not from a reliable source. Any info would be great.
Thanks:confused:

the no LSD thing you heard is true, and lets see i think it has more obd-ii emissions stuff, a little harder to mod but still modable..... and the front and the back are restyled, but still retains the same shape....... interior is the same, except on the '98 u get a white faced speedometer & tachometer (the gas and temp gauge are still black, kinda stupid if u ask me).... umm i think the '95-97 had painted side mirrors, no matter what color you get the '98 just has unpainted black plastic mirrors.. thats all that i can think of right now,

covers everything i think and has pictures so you can see the cosmetic differences...

Interior is different - completely different cloth on seats and door panels...

Also sunroof and keyless entry are no longer standard. The trim around the windows is black and not chrome.

How much does the LSD affect the car's performance. Once again I have heard different things.
Thanks

!!!!!
The LSD is 90% of the car's worth to me. You can actually gas it coming out of the corners without your inside front tire burning into a white cloud of smoke. I drove a brand new (at the time) '98 for about one mile. Took one corner, lit up the inside tire and went nowhere, parked it. Got back into my '97.

Yeah, 98's blow for those reasons. Mine pisses me off, especially how the inside tire spins in tight corners.

SE-Rfornow, I noticed you're in Lancaster, I'm not far from you....
