WHich do you guys recommend and prefer for the type of driving that you do. Are there any downsides to choosing the metal masters or the orginals?? Which do you guys like better. Its for normal street driving and i also do drag racing at the track, not auto-x, just drag. Ur opinions are welcome....thanks in advance.

I have a set of Metal Masters for the front sitting in my garage. When I get the oil leak fixed I'll be going the pads, I'll let you know what I thing of them.

I've had the regular axxis pads on my car since sept. w/ no problems. They work the same hot or cold. Feel better than the stock pads. But, I never had the MM's. So I have nothing but the stock pads to compare to. Just my $.02.

I used the regular Metal Masters and never faded them on the track in hotlapping events. I really liked them. I now use the Metal Master Ultimates. They are on my G20 on the street and don't make a sound and are very predicatable. I also use them on my SE-R Cup car and don't fade them after 30 minutes of racing. I've got a 3 hour enduro coming up, I'll let you know how they do after that.

Thanks for the responses guys, i appreciate it....however, i have another question...which pad is better for street use and will last longer?? If the metal masters will last long and brake better, then im all for that. Thanks in advance.

I would get the Metal Master at least. Look into getting the Metal Master Ultimates as well. They are pretty cheap (~$54 from carbotech) and like Tom says the perform better than MMs.
