Hey what's up guys this problem just started today, and I just wanted any insights about it before I start to check it out. Earlier today I started my car and it stalled and then when I started it again it was fine. Then again the same happened right before I left work. Has this happened to anyone? The car runs fine.

this has happend to me before too... mostly when it was really cold i think. but i dont know what it was really... :(

I had this same problem...twice now in the past 3 weeks.

Nothing unusual...it was not cold, it wasn't raining or excessively humid...

The car would be running great, I would shut her down for about 5 or 10 minutes and go to start her up again. She ran for about 5 seconds, and sputtered and died. I cranked it intermittently for about 3 or 4 minutes, hearing some backfires from the exhaust.

Then, without doing anything, the car would start and run normally again. What's up with that??:confused:

sounds like a clogged up EGR to me, might want to check that out.

I don't know I havn't checked the car yet, but it only did it that day now it hasn't done it since crazy
