In my on-going search to find the elusive P11 VLSD tranny I have come across quite a few non-LSD P11 trannsmissions that are inexpaensive. I am thinking of getting one and installing a phantom grip in it. Would I just be able to use the non-lsd P11 G20 axles or could I use non-lsd B13 axles. The length of the axles concerns me. Are the dimensions the same for the B13 and the G20? Since my 1994 B13 is turbo I would really prefer the ratios of the P11 tranny? Has anyone performed or even heard of this tranny swap?

Well based on the info in the tech library it says you use your b13 axles...

My axles are for a VLSD B13 se-r transmission so they won't work. If the tranny was LSD my axles would work but I am thinking about getting the non-LSD trans because it is so much easier to find.

If you get a Non LSD you get axles from a 98-99 SE-R or Sentra SE. These cars come Non LSD

You can not use the P10 axle as it has a larger spline on the hub side. It will not fit in the hub.

Thanks for the info, I figured there had to be a difference between the G20 and B13 chassis. I did some more research and read that I might be able to use my passenger side B13 LSD axle with a non-LSD transmission, is this true? That way I would only have to get a driver's side axle if I got the P11 non-LSD tranny. I also gotta get in touch with a shop and make sure I can get a phantom grip for the P11 trans!
