I have an sr20de engine that I am putting into my Datsun 1600
here is the current shopping list, I am sure that i have missed lots of things so if you think of something else let me know.

throttle body to suit the sr20de (possibly one that is larger than std ??)
starter motor to suit sr20de
1 spark plug lead (no. 2 is missing from engine)
nuts & rubber washers on top of head cover
extractors / headers to suit datsun 1600/sr20de (might have to modify original exhaust which I dont have)
reversed 1600 engine crossmember or std datsun 1600 crossmember to be reversed (i have to use original cross member due to IPRA rules)
engine mounts
throttle cable setup
flywheel - lightened ????
clutch
gearbox - sr20 g/box or skyline r30 stumpy 5 speed box ???.....other suggestions ?
fuel pump
surge tank ????

All suggestions appreciated.

I think its SR -> Datto conversions you can buy an off-the-shelf conversion kit which includes custom mounts... Something to look into :D

Maddat in SA have an off the shelf Kit as does Datsport.

Would you be able to tell me how much the engine was and where u got it
