hey guys,
my name is cory. i'm livin in Chico, Norcal. I'm in the Honda PACT training program at butte community college. i'm 20 unfortunately. I work at thunderhill as pit crew for dave vodden (ceo thunderhill) on his SM/SMT miata #1 in san fran region. and i'm also crew chief on a 2004 Honda S2000 that is set up for T2 class that dave drives. it's owned by the school and payed for by tax dollars (honda donated the car and hardtop). we'll be running all local nationals with teh S2k and all SM races with the miata.
i'm new to this forum but not to tuning cars. i've got a lot to learn about the sentra's. i was hoping they would have a decent aftermarket support (used to EG/DC's i've owned) but i guess there really isnt a lot of support for the SR20's that are fwd. hopefully i'll find more selection on the bolt ons as i search around more.
i also unfortunatley have always been an N/A fan but i geuss now i'll have to go with learning about turbo's as the SR20 isnt that great for NA.
i plan on just doing the suspension/wheels tires/brakes first. as i plan on just running this at thunderhill and laguna and infineon. i dont think i'll be doing any drag racing, maybe just once to get some numbers for bragging rights :biggthump
i'm picking up my 92 SE-R on sunday from a lady that lives up in the mountains. original owner, dealer maintained (she worked at a nissan dealership for it's first 10 years she had it.), has 205K on it but has plenty of miles left on it. been maintained like no other.
no rust. it's faded but what early nineties red sentra isnt? plus it's gonna be repainted in like 1 month by my buddy that does that stuff for me. i'll have pics on sunday as soon as i pick it up :)

The beater Civic i bought from my sister, farm worker pulled out in front of me and i nailed their drivers door at 60mph on hwy 99 south of yuba city! super fun. finally getting insurance money in like 3 weeks :) already been 6 weeks. dont deal with allied insurance :mad:

if anyone has a honda and they need some info on it i have access to the online database and i can look up info for your car.
also i have carfax for a month if anyone needs a carfax done.
