: One strut retaining strap came off in shipment lowmileage 03-03-2006, 01:12 PM and the shaft popped thru the box. No damage to the threads but did the full extension cause any damage to the strut? Are they to be limited in their extension just to fit better in the box or do I now have a problem?? Blair 03-03-2006, 01:53 PM Being at full ext won't hurt the strut at all.
