Is it similar to this?

I know 3.5 is very new. However, I was able to switch mine with it and did not have any problems.
Anyway, do you know where your programming button is? According to your manual, if you press it a X numbers with ignition on, it will reset the alarm.
Basically after that don't "arm" it till you get a new one.

the old clifford alarms suck... if you can't find your valet switch then you are gonna have to crawl under your dash and rewire your starter back to stock.... make sure you pull the main power for the alarm too...... and you probably won't be able to find another key fob for an alarm that old. And personally i wouldn't want to anyways, new alarms are way better and cheaper than what you have.
