insaneser 03-17-2002, 08:45 PM i have the jwt s3 cams they are not the best cams for turbo cars (from what i here) i now have a set jwt cam gears ! what is the best possible settings ?intake?exhaust? how many turbo cars running cam gears???? bl200sx 03-17-2002, 09:07 PM I have the JWT 270 cams and with the JWT adj cam gears, ben at Jim Wolf told me to set the gears at 2 deg negitive on the intake and 2 deg postive on the exhaust, he said it would keep the motor from getting to hot. You don't get overlap until you run into higher boost levels correct? I have not been to Rockingham. I don't know much about the 4 bar fuel system but, I know you can run a lot more boost with a 4 bar, I'm not sure how much boost the stock cast piston's will take. Be sure what you got will handle higher boost levels.;) serdriver97 03-28-2002, 10:35 PM hey , for the s3 and the s4 cams you can use the stock settings to approximately 8.5 pounds of boost . at that time you will start to create too much overlap. The best setting to use for either set of cams is to retard the intake to setting A and advance the exhaust cam to setting 2. You will be able to up the boost to where ever you want with these settings | ||
