So, I had some free time and decided to repolish my inj caps and put the new polished stainless allen head screws in today.

Well, on the #1 cylinder I noticed just a small amount of fuel on the very top of the injector(maybe 1 drop) after I removed the cap. I know the injector is shot now, but never saw a leak like this before, anyone have an idea as to why it might of happened?

you mean the injector itself is leaking out the top?

I don't know if the injector is bad for sure on this one, could it maybe be the upper o-ring thats leaking?

Not an o ring this time. It is at the top of the injector, right where the rubber spacer goes between the cap and injector it's self. Seems to me it would be an internal seal or the like in the inj. that failed.
