Hey sup all. Im in need of a downpipe here pretty soon. Ive seen and talked to with some with the JGY downpipe and have seen the SR20dev downpipe too... The sr20dev downpipe is nice, but for 2.5"... $350 is overpriced I say. Im not downin or dissin on sr20dev, but that downpipe is too much. Who else out there makes a nice downpipe. What is the quality and price of other comnpanes? As...like...F-Max, maybe HotShot. Im not sure, but i need help soon. and if u have pics, post em up. thnx
also, give ur facts or opinions on the downpipe you have...thnx again!

When I talked to John at hotshot he said he makes one for the t-25 setup. I believe its 2.5" up to the flexpipe and then turns into 3" and will bolt onto the stock cat. Its around $300. Give them a call though to confirm the size and price.

"we"..err Hotshot has a Bluebird downpipe that bolts up to the stock DET O2 housing at the 3-bolt flange. It is a full 3 inches from the flange back. It goes into a 3" flexpipe, and then a short (few inches) section of 3" tube before necking down right before the cat to 2.5" to match the stock nissan cat. I left the section of 3" tube after the flexpipe/before the cat so if you ditch the stock cat for a 3" unit/3" exhaust, the downpipe can be cut after the flexpipe to attach to your new cat/exhaust. I'm not positive on the price (don't work in that 'department') but I believe its pretty competitive. call the office to find out: 626-303-0076. Hope that helps!

(EDIT) : also, forgot to mention: the whole downpipe is TIG welded and ceramic coated (shiny silver) so it looks pretty nice.

Andris are you guys (Hotshot) going to work on a t28 downpipe or is it the same as the t25(bluebird setup)?

I'm not positive if it's the same because we don't have a pulsar turbo/manifold laying around at the shop, but if we can get our hands on one, I'll check it out. If its different, we'll make a setup for it like we have for the Bluebird (front-mount IC kit w/piping, downpipe, etc.) and you'll be able to order any pieces seperately. (like the downpipe) .

At the convention Mike K. and I were trying to convince John to use the T28 on your 1.6 kit, he seemed interested, but maybe you could twist his arm a bit and get him to come around. I'd buy it yesterday if he uses the Pulsar T28!
