I found out my problem is located where my primary meets the "net" part of my exhaust. I can feel air coming out like its loose somewhere. what could it be, just loose or broken gasket? should i be able to smell a stonger exhaust smell?

That "net" is the flexxpipe. That is the came thing that happened to me. No gasket there. It is all one piece from the CAT to the connection to the upper part of the header.

Since you probably have a stock unit, yours has heat shields around the pipe up to the flexpipe. But here is a pic of a HS header so you can see what I'm talking about.

I don't know if you can have a replacement flexpipe welded in there or if you have to get a whole new downpipe. You may want to see if anyone has their stocker in their basement. Sorry mine had the same problem and I threw it out.

Someone might get it to you for a few bucks.
