My fans stopped working and the engine overheated and sprug a leak by the firewall. Couldnt find it at first but then I looked down under the manifold for cracks. Found it..

The crack is down under the 2 & 3 injector near the front.

Can I fix this or do I need a new manifold?

I'm sure you could get a cheap manifold in the classifieds here.

The intake manifold doesn't have any water passages in it, better look again.

SRx5. THANKS.......

You are right... This is a hose after looking closer....

Okay, now how do I get to this hose and replace it??
Its under the manifold.. And are any other hoses under there??

From under the car is the easiest way for sure, unless you want to take the manifold off (not fun!). A few vacum hoses, but you'll see the leak when you get too it.

I removed one short hose, no damage..
There is another hose but can only get to 1 clamp... Go figure....
Driver side clamp hidden... But, it is definitely damaged.....

Are these regular hoses or some high quality hose only from the dealer???

Should I change the thermostat?

And whats up with my fans not working?? and Which fuse turns them on??

Just plain old radiator hose will work. Leave the thermostat be for now. Check the fan plugs (body harness side) for voltage before anything else other than all fuses and relays.

Are the Rad Fans on always?
If not, how can I set the fan on for power testing?

Strange that they are both out...

Under the hood, I have 3 fuse boxes with Rad Fan1, Rad Fan2 & Rad Fan3 ...
Rad Fan1 & Rad Fan2 the right fuses for the 2 fans??? Which one makes them work?

Well, I replaced the both short hoses, three 6-pin cooling fan relays, and the 2-prong temp sensor. The car is now running fine and not hot. The fans does come on when idling but not when I press the AC button. Im lost... Will probably hotwire the fans to a switch....
