like hard to push in, you think my clutch cable is going?

Clutch cable or pressure plate. Cable is easy to check, pp isn't.

how do i check the cable?

i would say you at least need to lube up the cable

The lube idea looks good, but id love to know where to get that "device" from to make it work

My new 91 se-r's clutch is rediculiously hard to press down. My shifts seem to take forever because theres a 3-4 second gap between gear shifts. The cable dosnt seem to be to tight. I know the car has an aftermarket clutch but of what origin I do not know. Ill be keeping an eye on this thread.

my cable was the same way, super stiff but didnt snag ever and never got worse either, bought a oem cable and lubed it for about 20 minutes just walkin around spraying a little lithium on the cable and moving it up and down. Installing the cable takes 20 mabye 30 minutes and damn is that a different feel. I have a 2100 lb PP and its so smooth now im out of synch with my shifting

heh my clutch is stiff as all but thats the way i like it.
