When replacing your struts and springs, what else do you need to change? Boots and/or the top strut plate or do they come with that?

Well as far as the top plate(upper strut mount), its your choice wether you need to replace it or not, you could disconnect your current strut from the spindle and push it forward and backwards to see if there are any cracks in the rubber, you would look at it from above while someone elce pushed it or just moved it around in un-natural movments...and the boot, its probably a good idea to replace that too, unless yours are in good condition, I think you must buy them seperatly, someone correct me if I'm wrong...and if the procedure that you are talking about was per FSM then you would replace the strut to spindle bolts...hope this helps! And buy a FSM(Factory service manual) if you don't already have one! :);)

Ryan, thanks for taking the time to answer. I did go ahead and order the new strut boots anyways and decided to gamble on the top plate. I have been waiting for another FSM to go on sale on Ebay again, hard rascals to come by sometimes. :D
