Registration for Autocrossers, Incorporated's (http://www.autocrossersinc.net) first of six Championship events for 2006 is open at MyAutoEvents ( http://tinyurl.com/fm2uj ). The first event is Saturday April 15th at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Md., and entry is limited to the first 180 people that register. Prepayment of $30 is required.

If you're a novice or just a n00b, this would be the autocross you want to attend! Club members as well as other veteran autocrossers will be available for ride alongs and general tutoring throughout the day.

If you have any general car classification questions prior to registering, just post 'em here.

We are also going to hand out trophies (in the form of pint glasses) to class winners and other trophy positions.

Good to know... I always forget about autox inc. There's a Philly Region SCCA event at Ripken on April 1st that I'll be at. This weekend is the last winter series Philly event. It's up in Warminster, PA.

I'll probably be out of town for Easter the 15th... doh!

Another April event at Ripken, gotta talk to the significant other for approval first though. :(

I'm too old to drive that far anymore for a one-day autocross. :) Spoiled living between Ripken (45 minutes away) and FedEx Field (30 minutes away).
