Personally I think it sucks! I am going to have to move out of the metroplex! Will Turbo pass?

don't know, don't care. alot of the stuff should pass, just don't be a riceboy and knock out your cat, I might actually test mine to see if it will pass for shits and giggles......

yeah, Chuck. starting in April (supposidly) when you get your car inspected, they will run it on a little dyno. to get better reading "under load". the inspection will go up in cost to about $40 to $50.
I wonder if they can check horse power number while it's on the machine? hmmmm..:)

The main problem with this kind of inspection is the last time they tried this not one car passed. Not even one year old or new cars. Thats why it got scraped for a while. Automakers do the same kind of testing that Texas has done for years now to determine emission and not on a Dyno. I think it will be interesting to see.

I wonder how much stricter they are going to be on Bolt-ons during the underhood visual inspection. I've got a JWT WAI, Headers, and a Brospeed exhaust. Will I pass? Who knows.

I know this is kinda late, but... Last time I went to get inspected, they said no more "open element" air filters! Which was a bitch cause I had to put the stocker back on. it was annoying as hell, but anyways...
