does anybody even use these shocks anymore???? i remember a few years ago, they were a hot item

A few years ago, they were the ONLY struts that would fit on the rear of a B14. I had a set on my black 200sx.

Now there are more choices, and the GAB's are still overpriced, nobody really uses them anymore.

They were made obsolete by the AGXs. Same performance, lower price.

The "same performance" assumption was verified by someone on the main se-r list who gained access to a shock dyno and determined that the performance was pretty much the same.

Not just "Same performance", but same strut! I have a set of GABs, and it says made by AGX on them. AGX originally made them for GAB, but the relationship faltered (AGX probably saw GAB making bank off them and thought better of it), and AGX now sells them direct.

Get the AGXs and be happy.
