hello ppl,
Recently someone came to make an ecu modification to his car. His car is an sr20de almera GTI or n15. I used the consult and managed to extract the maps from his ecu. The map structure was a bit different than g20ecu or b13, buet this is not the real problem.
When I opened the ecu to put the daugherboard, I found out it had a different construction from the typical ones.
Instead of having 20 and 20 pins in 2 rows it had 30 and 20 pins. Searching on net I found this info concerning this type of ecu.
http://forum.bikirom.com/viewtopic.php?t=149.
My question is, if I follow the above instructions concerning which pins I have to solder and use on the board, using a typicall 20x20 daugtherboard and put the original program I extracted from the car will it work?
My main concern is , if I fit the board as the link says using a ribbon cable, will it work correctly? The car is an almera n15 sss and the boards are the classic sr20de boards with the 20X20 pins structure.
finally i tried to put the original program in an older ecu type, but the car had an immobilizer and it didnt start at all. anyone knows if i can close the immobilizer?
Anyone with that kind of experience?
Thanks in advance for your answer
