Last night I got the brakes working minimal and took the car out to a lonly road. 12psi the car just gets. can I get a little torque steer. I only got up to about 70 before shutting it down. but It didn't take long to get there.

As soon as I can I want to get it on a dyno.

Enjoy

I said it before, I'll say it again- That's superbly planned out and just as well executed. Please share with us your first driving impressions once it's on the road.

thanks,

as soon as I can I will.

money alittle tight right now, so it will be a couple of weeks.
but whats a couple more weeks when it sat for 2 yes I said 2 years. But I finaly got to fire it up last weekend and take it around the block. but I only had the emergency brake so I never got over 3k. anyway not very safe.

Belive me you guys will be the first to know how it goes.

Oh my gosh, that IS sweet! I'm going to do the same thing (someday). How hard is it, really, to do that?

i forget if you metoned this already, but did yu make your downpipe the same as all the rest of your piping?.just buy some bends/cut/shape/and have it welded?..you didnt mention that you bought a dp so im guessing, and so your DP back is all the same 304ss as the ic piping? you have a high fow cat, or straight pipe? its lookin very nice

Kelway, Its not all that hard just time consuming. lots of metal work. and time spent talking to my welder to get everything right.
it would def. help to have a car with a motor that you could do fab work on while it sat.

YeloBlammo, Yes the DP is completed and 3" turbo back all 304SS
tig welded just like the manifold & IC piping. The DP was actually quite a bit of work. Fitting it in and then me Tack welding it together. I took the manifold, turbo, wastgate, & DP to my welder for him to weld with everything together to make sure it fit right.

I have a 3" High flow cat, 21" 3" race muffler(resonator), and a apexi N-1 universal turbo muffler.
the rest of the exhaust will be on soon as I get the brakes worked out.

On the FTF motorsports fuel rail do you need to you use stainless lines or can you use the factory return and feed lines?

Thanks,

I took it out last night and ran it.

Just a few more bugs to work out but it boosted 12psi and it hauls.

Thats a quality built manifold good job on it. I do have some questions about your Blow off valve, You have the old blitz unit correct? I have the same BOV now your custom recurculation looks like you took some silicone hose and slipped it over the nozzle and tightened it down with some hose clamps now my question is one am I correct? And Two How well does it work. I may do the same thing if it works well. Let me know TIA

ok this was quite fun.

Supplies:

1. Two Rubber cain Ends
2. Two Rubber Couplings (sure silicone would be better)(Mine are rubber drian pipe conectors)
3. The hose (mine is left over radiator hose from a Cool flex hose)
4. My BOV came with a steel flange and an aluminum one that had a small pipe attached.

First I took off the Horn and used the aluminum flange/pipe for the adaptor. (if you dont have this you might want to make one.

My Intake pipe has a nipple the same size as the pipe that my BOV sits on.

Now I took the Cane ends and cut the end off. it it will be a rubber spacer thats cone shaped.
stick the Cane ends on your bov pipe end and your intake pipe nipple. use rubber couplings to connect your hose (my Cool flex)from bov to intake pipe.

And "waaalaaaa" "presto"

I have since changed it up just a tad.

See the Nice polished radiator hose caps. I now have them covering the Rubber couplings.

Oh forgot to mention I can't hear it so I can't tell you how well its working right now the exhaust is alittle too loud (its a DP only) for me to tell if its working. and I have a "Hunting Idle problem" I think my BOV my not be opening. Anyone know a good way to test?

Yeah, you can pull the hose off the BOV and Check for AIR. What does your Vacuum read? Also when I used mine I could hear it while inside the car even with open downpipe, it made like a wobble sound kinda kool. Like a TISK TISk TIsk Tisk tisk
