I purchased a SR20DE block from Lens Custom Crank Shaft in ST. Louis, Missouri
it was bored to 86.5mm (which was fine) and then it was decked of course that was the problem when they cut the head it was uneven as all get out when I put my head on I noticed the valves were hitting the top of the piston I thought it would be fine do to 9.0:1 CR (dish in the piston) and checked the warp allowed on the top of the block... but indeed I was wrong..so now I can't do anything but look at the block and make a coffee table out of it...:D
Please do not buy from these A-holes
Now I am stuck with a fully built engine but a block that is decked wrong and now lose all the time and agrevastion of having to take this all apart and do it all over again.
So now I am looking for a Good (not scared cylinder walls) SR20de block not bored or decked not a warped deck either just a plain excellent stripped block with main caps and girdle
