SR20DET is a Great motor.....but the 2JZGTE is better. What is done there is cool but a little bass ackwards to me. 2JZGTE in a 240 would be nice..... But then you could allways do a RB26DET...

In the GT500 series in Japan they swapped the 2JZ out for a 3SGTE because of weight distribution and it's not that hard for a company (meaning a race car) to make 500 hp out of a 4 cylinder. If you had alot of cash like a racing team does that is.

I understand for that, and I get your point.. Although I know most racing leagues in the US motor swaps from out of the family (toyota to nissan ect...) knock you out of class. In Japan or wherever that is I dont know.

I know about the 3SGTE swap for that reason... Just wonder why they did SR20? Show... Because they can??
