Hey guys well the shop just called me after getting the car on the dyno and tuning it. Unfortunally the graph charts were down they said so i dont have anything to upload.

Numbers: 248whp 242ft.lbs. at 15 psi

I pick the car up tommorrow so it should be nice since it got a new motor and new suspension(Tein Basics)!

Please tell me if these numbers seem right or off by a little. I forgot to ask the A/F but he said it was tuned very well and that he barely had to tune it because of the Mines ECU!

Yeah, that seems a little low. But we'll see soon, I'll be doing almost the same swap next weekend but I have the dual daughterboard ecu from Calum.

would cams help him get greater numbers, compared to what i have seen here on the forum the numbers do seem a bit low,

I expected better #'s to be honest @ 15psi... Maybe its the tuner?? Theirs been some high HP T28 setups on here recently with similar setups. I say get some Cams and turn boost up 3 to 4 psi and have some fun. You need to come to Otown and show the new setup off...

The numbers are not bad. If he gets a set of JWT cams for the GTIR motor he will pick up another 30 WHP at the same boost level. That would net him 278 WHP.

boostedb13 - I plan on going to the next otown track day whenever coalitionse-l sets a second one up and i would be more then happy to show it off! Question-what do you have done to your Gti-R motor.(i assume you have one by looking at your sig) and what numbers have you put out.

Andreas - Awesome i was hoping you would chime in since you know so much about these setups. I will defintally get some cams after i get another tranny because this one is clicking and itll go soon specially with the much added power i just slapped on it. Andreas since the Gti-R motor has 8.3:1 comp do you think i can run higher psi like 18psi max and make a great increase in power or is it not worth the punishment on my turbo and motor.

Also most setups around here run the DE+Gtir turbo setup and cams so usually there numbers are higher and i cant really compare because of the higher compression and the cams but other then that ive got everything i need to run the best i believe.

i think those #'s are a lil at seeing ur at 15 psi. my *** has just a sr20 with a t25 setup and he is doing 215whp at 6-7psi

ll definately try to make it out to the next track day to see the local SE-Rs and their setups. Us Central Florida SE-R's gotta get together more often... Just got the basic upgrades on mine, bigger turbo, bigger injectors, Protech Manifold, Emanage V1 and it hasnt seen the dyno. Its hasnt even seen the road yet, but will be ready next weekend for Morosso. Look forward to seeing your car sometime..

my car made 283 preety much untuned , same setup with s4 cams 370,s at 4 bar and jwt ecu oh yea miko maf!!

Sorry to here about the tranny bro... In the back of my mind Ive been worried about my tranny taking a s**t too when I get my car back.. Did you crack the case?

I think i might of cracked the case because its leaking tranny oil bad but i dunno because i havent been able to look at it yet. Yeh man watch out for the tranny thats the only part i hate with our cars. I dont understand how nissan can build such great motors but s**tty tranies.

theres a couple of b14 trannys sitting around i know of one for 450 sitting at junk yard...pm and i tell you where its at.

what kind of dyno? A lot of places do tuning on dyno's that show more info not that show the highest #'s. For example mustang dyno's are better for tuning but most dyno jets will show higher numbers. I made 249whp on a dynojet at 10psi<--I have a cams and a different fuel setup.

P.s. Lilzaneboy69 IF the crack didn't go through any seals you can probably have it welded repaired<--if you do this do some research on preventing that problem. IF you don't find how to prevent it pm me. I am getting off here now or I would try to explain it.

I dont know what dyno it is but i know it wasnt a mustang. I wish i would have been there so i could know all this info. I dont think fixing the crack would help beacuse the hole tranny is shot but ill pm ya because im not completely understanding what you mean thanks man.

Gtir motors tend to run about 275-280ish ATF on 1bar, so your 248 ATW assuming fwd is about 280ish ATF assuming a 12% transmission losses. So it's about right allowing for atmospheric differences etc.
Have you fitted 555cc injectors as the Gtir uses 444cc. The mods you appear to have do don't realy warrent bigger injectors just yet.

The motor came with the 555cc inj. and the Mines ECU so i dont really know what your asking. Dont take that the wrong way i just dont really understand your question please explain.
