I WANNA KNOW IF ANYONE HAS THE HP RACING 4-2-1 HEADERS ON THEIR B14. IS IT BETTER THAN THE HOTSHOT HEADERS???

prolly not. the HS had been tried and true. the company is always attempting to better themselves and their product, that's why they have 5 generations of headers for the SR20. in my limited experience HP hasn't produced anything of worth for the SR20 community. even their BABK hasn't got much attention from anyone i know. stick with Hotshot. just my $.02

To make a long story short... they never came through with the dyno they said they had... they cliamed to beat out Hotshot :rolleyes: and to tell you the truth I've never met anyone here or anywhere with there headers..

Sorry I'll risk my money on JWT or Hotshot... Just my 2 cents

hey Sub, just so you know...JWT sells the HS header. the don't manufacture their own. i know this 'cause that's where i bought mine. :)

from who? the first couple of generations of HS headers had probs w/ the flex pipe. granted, there is the possibility of defects whenever you have hand-crafted products. but i've not heard of anybodies primaries cracking. if you're worried about it, then buy the knock-off, i mean, Pacesetter headers. the fact still reamins that HS is, IMO, the best product out there for the SR20.

THE THING IS IM GONNA END UP TURBOCHARGING MY CAR BUT FOR NOW I WANNA TRY ALL MOTOR SET-UP. IF THE PACESETTER HEADERS WILL FIT MY 95 200SX SE-R THEN I'LL GO FOR THOSE SINCE IT'S A BANG FOR THE BUCK. PLS LET ME KNOW IF THAT'LL FIT.

this is the answer you seek. the only difference is the 95+ SR20's don't use the AIV hole provided.

If your going turbo in the future dont spend money on a header save it for the turbo. My opinion

ya that is true jackson diamond. but the thing is i wanna get more hp out of my car for now and i'm looking for headers. i already got the place racing cai. the thing is the car looks fast. it aint no sleeper car lol. i got my ass whooped by my friend's type r the other day with a spoon set-up. and i just want something to get me by for now. i dont think ill be able to get my hands on a det or turbo kit til next year so i just wanna go faster than stock for now. thinkin bout gettin NOS but that's kinda like cheating though.

oh btw, i whooped my friend's 99 si with a greddy header and exhaust set up with aem cai:D. he couldnt believe my car only had a cai lolz. anybody else got stories running against those slow ass hondas lolz.
