its my understanding that the es inserts for 40$ do a good job. i was just wondering what the major differences between these inserts and the expensive replacement mounts.? i know its a new mount but is there a noticable difference between inserts and them?

inserts are just inserts. the JWT and PR are complete replacements. depending on how much HP (or wheel hop) you have, will be the deciding factor on which would be best. i'd say go fro the ES for starters. if you feel you need stiffer mounts then go for the PR ($175) or JWT ($250). with the solid MM's you'll feel a lot more vibrations compared the inserts. then again, i've seen an engine w/ ES inserts move a wee bit when revved and the one w/ the JWT didn't even budge!

IMHO anything over he ES inserts is overkill, unless maybe if you're running 11's in the 1/4 mile. Ray K has the ES inserts in his 98 SE Turbo and has no problems.

Well I think they are jwt mounts now, or soon to be. ;)
