hey whats up guys, i have a DEI alarm system installed on my car, and its a run of the mill alarm system, if it goes off, the siren sounds..cool. However, im wondering if theres a way where i can somehow hook up the alarm to my cars horn so that the horn blares out alongside the siren to make it a bit more obnoxious and to be able to distinguish its MY alarm going off when it does(they all sound the same) or are there ways that i can make it louder? maybe if i buy a second siren and splice it off the other siren? i dont know, TIA

2.if u wanna add another siren u can just splice off brown wire(siren output) but anymore then two sirens you would need a relay for that

1. what kind of relay is required and can it be bought and installed by me(im pretty good with electrical)

2. the place that installed my alarm said that i cant run 2 sirens off the same signal because it will weaken the signal and 2 sirens wont even be loud..i dont know how true this is

Exactly, you could wire up the relay to the parking light output and everytime the lights would flash, the horn would go on and off.

There is a direct fax for this issue let me see if i can download it. Send me your email and i will send it to you. This way lets your horn honk only when the alarm is going off not when you arm and disarm it.
