Does anyone here in the forum had issues with unknown battery drain with their classic se-r's? well, here's my issue, i had taken out all aftermarket parts that could be a possibility that contributes to my battery drain and guess what? still draining.... the only parts that i have not changed are the alternator(I had it checked and it is a good alt.) and starter( which everytime i start the car, it has a whining noise that comes after starting the vehicle). I need everybody's help in this forum to figure out where my battery drain is coming from. I was informed that the only 2 parts that are connected dirrectly to the battery at all time are the alternator and starter? is this correct? is there any other parts that are connected that i am not aware of?
PLEASE ADVISE...

I am having similar problems. I think my rear defrost relay is sticking open. One thing you can try is to charge up your battery, disconnect the negative cable, and connect a test light between the cable and the post. If the light is one, then pull fuses one by one until the light goes out. My problem (possiblely solved) is/was that the relay wouldn't stick all of the time. I believe the only fuse that should be constantly one is the "room lanp" - I think that is it. That fuse controls the dome light, clock, radio memory, and I think the constant power to the ecu. Hope this helps b/c I know it isn't any fun to deal w/. One other thing is that the light in the trunk has a tendency to stay on b/c the switch doesn't turn it off. That is one more thing to check.
