Does anyone know if the non-coated Pacesetter header for the Sentra SE-R will work with the NX2000? Also are any exhuast mods necessary?

Yes sir they will work and I highly recommend them. No exhaust mods are necessary but a high flow performance muffler will only help you. As many people have already stated these headers are probrobly the biggest bang for the buck mod you can get. I installed one on my car about 3 weeks ago and I love it. Sounds kind of funny, but I think that is because I have my cat hollowed out. The sound is kind of throaty and I did get some resonance at about 4000 rpm. They seem to produce a good ammount of low end torque and they really start to come on strong at about 5k. Go ahead and give them a try. For only $150 bucks even if you don't like them (doubt it!) you aren't out that much money. Good luck and happy horsepower hunting to you!:)

Someone should post this on every SE-R website:

**EVERY 91-99 SR20DE ENGINE USES THE EXACT SAME HEADER**

It will fit. But a non-coated header WILL eventually rust. Save your money, buy a HotShot header.

Cant you buy like three pace setter headers for the price of one Hot Shot? And a pace setter is just a copy of an earlier gen HS anyway. My money would go to Pace Setter, and if i was worried about rust, i would go for the ceramic coated version.

...Or you could try to coat it yourself. All you need is some header coating and an oven (I've never actually done it).

It's a copy of the HS 1stGen. And the 5th Gen is out now. And it makes MORE peak HP and more HP under the curve than the PS.

Besides, I would rather support a company that's making original products for the SE-R/NX community than just ripping other companies off.
