Any one know how to remove carbon build up? On person has told me to use ATF, put it in a cup, and take a vacume hose off, and put it in the cup. Anouther has told me to use something called "carb out" or something, and the last one told me to pour water in the intake and keep it running(just make sure its nice and hot). Anyone have any ideas? Thanks..I'm getting a 195psi compression reading in one of my cylenders...so I'm concerned...

What about using a fuel system treatment/cleaner? Would that work to solve your problem. It cleans up the injectors and any carbon buildup in the combustion chamber and on the valves.

Not a prob. You can it at any automotive centre/store. Around here, I would go to Canadian Tire, around where you live, maybe a Pep Boys or something similar to it should have it. I think even Walmart carries that stuff. This stuff works very well, I used it in my other car (neon) when it felt sluggish, and after I used it (within 100~300KM), felt it pull much better. I used it on my 200 just a couple of weeks ago because it felt sluggish, and felt it pull much better, same story. The directions usually suggest about every 5000KM (I don't know the equivalence to miles right now). You can follow their directions of frequency to get max. benefit, but it's not very neccesary. I used to do it every oil change, costs about $15~$20 CAN each bottle and there are many manufactures, most are the same but I would reccomend the synthetic version, it lasts longer.;)

So is this stuff that you add to the oil? I'm thinking about stuff you would use to directly take carbo deposits off the cylender head and in the combustion chamber....

Nah, it's a gas additive. Just add it next time you fill-up.

ya I did a Techeron Concentrate gas treatment last oil change, to get rid of *some* carbon buildup I bought a can of Carb/choke cleaner thinge, and a tooth brush, basically I disconnected the intake, step on the gas to open the butterfly valve, and spray a bunch of that stuff into the throttlebody, at the same time kinda reach into the throttlebody with my toothbrush and try to scrub out as much carbon as I can.. then I spray some more and reconnect the intake. Let the stuff sit for a little bit, fire up the car and go.. The throttle response was a little bit better after that, I also get like 2mpg more in general. I'm sure if I take out the throttlebody and actually do like a real cleaning it would be better but this will do.
