One word, CLEAN. I have sold more cars this way. Clean and clean again. Then push things like "new tires" or recent inspection...whatever shows that when he buys is he won't have to dump 2k into getting it back in shape. Don't know the condition of your car but this has worked for me in the past. Clean engine bay, clean wheel wells, clean int/ext always helps a sale. But I am sure you already knew that!

don't forget he'll have to buy YOU before he buys your car.

WD-40 works great. I just used it yesterday to get a lot of tar off of my grandfathers war mobile(96 intrepid that goes through hell and back). It works great just make sure to wax that area when your done. Good luck

It may be a little late, but I would suggest new floor mats. You would be amazed how just adding new floow mats makes the whole inside of the car look new.

One time a guy and his dad drove from Illinios to PA where I live overnight to buy my 91 SE-R a couple years ago. He test drove it for 10 minutes and bought it on the spot.
