I was wondering if anyone can tell me the difference between the SR20DET and SR20DE throttle body? The reason I ask is because I'm trying to refab my cruise control on a S13 SR20DET, and I can get ahold of a SR20DE throttle body that has the 2 cable linkage. Any help would be great. Thanks.

No difference beatween the FWD T/B's .... as far the RWD The FWD T'B's wont work because they have a linkage setup that runs them , its different than the RWD's ....I have made the Cruise work on the RWD's ..basicly you need an aftermrket setup , the cable clamp and the bendy ball chain type linkage piece to adapt it to work ... You would have to scour a wrecking yard for a car that has an aftermarket cruise setup and see how the cable connects on those , then you will see how it can be made to work ...and have the pieces to make it work ..

You can use the KA-DE throttle body to get cruise to work on your SR. However, I believe you have to do something to the TPS to get it to work.
