I wanted to get the Gun-Medal rims from some kid i know around but he wanted $200 dollar on top of my stock Se-r rims, the tire on the Gun-medal rims have like 70% and my tire is like 50%.
The Gun-medal is in perfect condition and my is in good condition

Do anyone thinks this is a fair price and would u guys do this trade??????

If you don't mind the hassle, You can get your rims powdercoated for like $125...
But otherwise I wouldn't kick out $200 extra for those... I'd give him $50 for the difference in tire wear and call it even!! Just my duece cents...

well, i'd handle the tires and rims separately. i assume you're talkin' about the '99 SEL Titanium (that's the true color code) rims. since they're fairly rare, i'd say that askin' for more $$ makes sense. Raser X is right though, gettin' your stockers powdercoated is another option.

as far as the tires, i wouldn't even waste my time w/ 'em. just tell the dude that they're too worn to even be considered as a part of the deal.

OK, it costs $135 for powdercoating, how much to get the wheels unmounted/remounted $40? And your car is going to be out of comission for a few days right ($40 aggrevation fee). And you'll have to buy lunch for your buddy ($10) to drive your ass to the tire store, powdercoaters, and back home. Then you have to buy him lunch again ($10) when he drives you to the powder coaters, and back to the tire store to get them remounted, then back home. Now you've just spent $125 + $100 to get your stock rims powdercoated and have your old tires remounted. Make sense?

Offer the guy $150, settle on $175 buy the guy a 40oz, and do the swap in your driveway. Now you have a nice set of original SE-L rims with better tires than you started off with, and if your lucky, you might even get a slight buzz off the 40.

Haha, yes it bothers me. I actually made him a kick ass sig and he used it for like 2 days. Oh well. Some people like crooked shit.:eek:

Yeah, I thought the same. But I didn't say anything ;)

Alright give me one more week, i will post my pic with the GTR stillen lip and i will CLEAN the rims before i take the picture. :o
