But n-e-wayz i was woundering how much Gas mileage do ya'll get in ya'll turbo rides. Does it change or does it stay the same.

Im asking cause im planning on turbocharging my ride hopefully like the end of this year.

the most mine made is about ~220 per full tank with almost all highway miles after my DET install and brand new plugs and o2 sensor. It never makes 200 if its all city miles :mad: (I'm still on stock boost btw)
I too wanna hear what others are getting per full tank.

You put a turbo in your car to go fast, not be fuel efficient!!

i get between 300-320 miles on a tank....so that's about 25-27 mpg....same as when my car was n/a...and i drive the CRAP out of it now!!!

I get 20mpg (200-210 miles/tank) if I boost on it a lot. 23-24mpg (240-250 mi/tank) in mixed driving and up to 27mpg (280+ mi/tank) if I cruise at 70 on the highway.

Believe me, it will be hard to get good gas mileage with boost! ;)

I get about 200 miles if I am not boosting. If I am Boosting about 150 to 180 miles.

Half city half highway I get 31 mpg. Worst so far is 27mpg!!!

I am confident that on a long highway trip I can get 34 mpg or better.

Mostly city driving I average 23 mpg. Stock BB DET w/T25. Under boost it goes down only slightly. The best I have gotten on the highway is 29 mpg. I think I can get better than that though. For some reason the faster I set my cruise on the highway the better my gas mileage?? Usually it's the opposite.

I have the same problem as you. I avg about 17-18mpg boosting/cruising and best hwy mileage Ive gotten was like 25mpg once. Usually 150mi for ever 8 gallons more or less.

I get 29-30mpg at 74mph highway and 31-32mpg at 59mph highway (they just lowered the speed limits in the Houston area).

In mixed driving I get 24-26mpg.

I got 32 mpg freeway and about 22 in town. I loved to boost around town.. :)

curious what sizes are your fuel injectors and fuel pump? i'm hoping i will get at least 20mpg with 550cc injectors and a 3z TT fuel pump running 7-10 psi.

Man, so far I haven't gotten above 20 mpg. t25, s3 cams, greddy exhaust (need a 3"). This is while driving around Austin.... too many damn freeway onramps :) Not to mention lots of fun and twisty roads! Well, maybe next time I have to drive a long distance I'll get some decent mileage.....
