Ok i went and picked up my SE-R today for $900. As I was driving home I notice that it wanders everywhere on the raod and it pulls hard left under accel? Any Ideas? I will be under and in front of it all day tomorrow doing the sunny swap off my GXE.

You've got some front end work to do - LOTSA miles I'll bet - do alignment first - but my guess is that you've got some pieces to replace.

Actually it only has 106k on it, but the tires are shot and I I would probably just get an alignment when i get tires. What would I be looking for when i am under there anything major?

Hm, at 106 not a lot, but I only had 114 when I did ball joints and tie rod ends; lots of people go through all the sundry stuff where rubber sits and put in somebody's polyurethane, but being an old geezer I've not liked that solution very much as the cars I've ridden in get REALLY harsh - and I've made mine, um, firm enough what with AGX's, Hypercos, Progress bars and 40 series tires on 16's. You did GREAT if you grabbed a 100k car for less than a grand. Well done. Oh - any play in the steering wheel when at rest with the engine off (so power steering pump isn't pumping)? I wouldn't expect that but you DEFINITELY want to look into that REAL SOON if that's the case - I'd suspect something loose. You shouldn't be able to move the wheel back and forth much more than a half inch or so before you begin to feel resistance (front end guys, check me on this)

ps, when you get tires, you REALLY NEED to get an alignment - while there's not really any camber adjustment on these (you can get a bit by shoving the wheel with the lower strut bolts loose), both ends have toe adjustment. You'll also find out if the camber is funny, which means somebody bent something (unlikely, but you need to know).

Nope no play at all in the steering, i'll check the ball joints as soon as I get it in the air.
Yah I thought that I got a decent deal on the car the interior in in GREAT condition but the exterior has dings all over and has what seems to be a pretty common crappy red thats oxidizing. Ill get some pics up a little later.

What size tire is a good size for these? this one has 14's on it and the tire range in size that are on it :( Yah I got screwed in that department. sizes on it are 195/65 and 205/60
