Guys, I need the bolt sizes for the stock exhaust manifold heatshields on a B14. Looks to be around a 10mm but I can't be sure. There are 8 of them I believe, I can't find the correct size, pitch or length.

When I had my stock header, I picked up the exact same bolts for the large heat shield that covers the header from ACE hardware (the one that the O2 sensor goes through and into the header). I'm not sure of the size; I just brought one of the original bolts to ACE and matched it up with a brand new one when I was there.

Well see thats the whole problem, I don't have any of the old bolts to compare with :(

What is with you and lost bolts? Your luck I am bored and like playing with my new dail caliper. Everyone should have one of these things.

Size 6mmX20mm. I think the pitch is 1.0 its very small and hard to measure but I should be right. Get a flat and a split washer fro each bolt.

That other bolt I measured for you was 10mm (with a 17mm head). These are so much smaller are we talking about the same thing. Are you talking about the socket head size?

I saved all my stock parts from the car but didn't save the bolts cause they were so rusty.

BTW, I am talking about the bolts that attach the 2 stock heat shields to the stock exhaust manifold, primary and secondary. Although they are not really neccesary I still want to put them on.

Those are 6mmX20mm. I the pitch is 1.0
