Hey guys whats up. If any of you have followed the previous thread about local SE-Rs and 240s etc.. you know we brought up the idea of a local meet up.

*UPDATE*

The meet will be held at Ft. Desoto Park. We do not have to make reservations for shelter as we are not anticipating 50+ people/cars to show up.

The meet date will be May 21st.

I'm not really for sure what time we should set for all of us to meet up.
We could also meet up at a previous location and caravan to the Park.
NO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL.

Now that we have it all set up, lets roll out hard.

Yes mos def.... Wonder what park around here we could do it at, maybe even a BBQ our something ...as i said in the other post be nice if someone know a big parking lot we could sit at with out any tourble from johnny law. Would definitely be cool to share some idea, maybe even get some help with something. Im down but dont know a date...asi still got to get my bluebird up and running. Other wise id have to show up in the womans car which is only a ga16de...wouldnt want to take the eclipse there. SO yeah be cool to meet fellow members from here.

We should meet up like 2 weeks or so, on a weekend or something so we can get the greatest amount of ppl to show up but we need to find a meeting place that is safe and we wont get the boot for being there.....I am sure someone has a place.... So if anyone thinks of a place let us know....

I am down. I know there is a park my the base on MacDill that is pretty empty the few times I went in it to watch softball games there.

I'm down for whenever, sorry I can't be much help with finding a location I don't live in Tampa and therefore don't know the area too well, so try to pick a location that is easy to get to for us outta towners.

yea well i mean we can meet at a park, parking lot, we can all get together at a restaraunt and shoot shit or whatever.

the park in macdill sounds like a good idea.

havent been there yet but im down....ill have to ride by there where at exactly still kinda of knew to south tampa...

Um i say we make it a month from now. 1st reason because thatll give us enough time to get this organized and have the most people we could get. 2nd reason thatll give some people time to finish up there cars. Let decide what day everyone would be avaliable? Sat? Sun? Ill start off by saying Sat or Sun is good for me! Ill through out a date also like either May 6th or May 7th.

BTW if any of you have stock bumpers(prefer red but dont matter) i would love to buy it off you.

a weekend date would be great. i'd like to see some of the ff sr's in tampa but would a turbo g20 be welcome? if so i'll bring that. i got a b14 ser that i can bring, but it doesn't have any mods so it's not quite so awesome...yet (i do have a gti-r swap to be installed soon).

I work on some Saturdays. Sunday's would be better for me. Next month is fine and that will give me some time to change out my suspension.

This meet will be for anykind of SR20 vehicle but is more towards our FWD SR20's. Of course your G20 is welcome. Ive got a Gti-R motor in my B14 SE-R its nice to see more P & B chassis series with that swap in it coming around. Here are the cars that this meet is focus toward(If this is incorrect please correct me Jimmy)-

B13(91-94 Sentra Se-r's)
B14(95-98 200sx Se-r's & 95-99 Se-l's)
B15(2000+ Sentra 2.0 SE's)
P10(91-96 G20's)
P11(99+ G20's)

Again thats just who the meets focused towards as you can bring w/e you want but this meet is for us to show off our cars and meet the locals and just hang out!

P.S. - crash course im gonna be fixing my tranny so once its in i can help you out with you Gti-R if your doing it yourself. Ill let you know thats probably the hardest out of the SR20's to put in our cars though, but its all worth it trust me!

I dont really want to make this a 240 vs SER hate thread, but i just kind of wanted to get the local SER's together. but by all means, were a group and we should decide on it as a group. If we want to make it a decent sized meet with 1000 swapped 240s with body panels falling off by all means i guess we can do so.

I think we can manage to get around 20 SER's for sure. I think im able to get around 10 to come possibly.

Thinking about it, ill try and narrow down a good spot for it.

Are we going to want to grab a bite to eat/sit down?
Do we want to be outside all day?
Do we want to roll out to a local spot?

Personally, Id like to meet up, get a bite to eat and chill out, then head out and crash a hangout. I only really know the obvious local hangouts, which probably make them a bad idea.. anybody have some suggestions? If you dont want to make it public just pm me.

Don't wait too long to do this, guys. Some of you are new to Florida, some of you aren't... summer storm season is getting closer. Heat, rain and high humidity... everyday;).

Im liking the way this is going.....FWD SR20's and any member from this forum hows that since we are gathering here?? I was the same way i dont want it to turn to ser vs 240 but dam theres so many 240's they can have there own meet. The park is sounding like a good place to meet first....and im down for food after that, and i love the part of crashing a hangout....specially if there were some hunduh's there...sorry had to get my hate out. It would be nice on a saturday but im down to make it sunday to make sure others can go
