i installed a 91-93 cam in my 94 se-r classic. first time around, i screwed up a shim...got the clattering sound. today, i fixed the shim but when i start the car, it would idle funny and die. i tried revving the car but the engine would stutter. tried driving it around a little and the car would barely push over 2500 rpm. it feels sluggish and sounds as if it may be pinging. i understand that pinging could be the result of ignition timing problems, and will try to address the issue tomorrow. just wondering if there may be anything else i'm missing/forgetting? if any of you have any information, your help would be greatly appreciated! thanks in advance!
