Here in Brooklyn there are about 20 pirate stations. Some with real strong signals that broadcast from afternoon to morning and all weekend long.

As soon as you start to come into Brooklyn you get:
95.1 95.9 97.5 99.9 102.3 104.1 105.5 107.9 and a lot of others I am probally forgetting.
The two best are 95.9 and 97.5. The two most powerful that reaches Queens are 104.1 and 107.9.

over here we have the "radio free" channels.

-Radio Free San Jose and Radio Free Berkly. I'm sure there are more big ones that are local but I'm not really in that group of friends or "the scene" anymore.

i did get to go into the outhouse that RFSJ used as their broadcast booth and talk on the air, that was fun.

My boy runs 106.3 in the Bronx. Its another Pirate station.

I did not know they had them in the Bronx too, cool! The big NY sound sets run the ones in Brooklyn.
