I'm thinkin about getting some new rims after I finish my turbo setup. I'm thinkin maybe some 18's since I'm all about show, but I'm starting to shift to the Go side (since i've been piecing this turbo setup together). I'm still wanting at least 17's and would want them to be somewhat lightweight. 15's are out of the question since I will be going with the FastBrakes 11.75" brake setup. I found some new rims that Axis just came out with. Tell me what you guys think!!
Here they are:

Here are the specs on them:
15x7.0 4x100 (11 lbs.) +40 $144.00 ea.

17x7.0 4x100 (14 lbs.) +40 $240.00 ea.

I'm sure you could get a better price if you knew a hook-up. Not sure if it would be something people would want for a group-buy.

15 are not out of the question. The 11.75 inch kit will fit behind 15 inch ROTA C8's. He uses a 3mm spacer but says it is fine. I have a pair of C8's. They weigh an honest 12.5 pounds (most manufactures fudge a little). They are perfect for 205/50 size tires.
With all that said I would not fault anyone for not buying 15's with a turbo. Unless you want track wheels. Even then with a turbo the bigger wheel would help reduce spinning IMHO.

I personally would go with either a 15 or 16 inch rim, and a nice 5 spoke rim, maybe a moda r1 or the borbet type r.....its going to be tough to find a lightweight 17 or 18 inch rim.

I would like to see those rims on a 200SX before I could say. I'm not used to seeing a 4 spoke and couldn't really say if I like them or not. The good thing is they're not chrome and if they're as light as they say, you're moving in the right direction. How about some nice SSR Competitions?

He already found some lightweight 17-inch rims. Weight is relative to the size of the rim. 14 lbs 17 are pretty good (the skeptic in me says they are probably closer to 15lbs) List of light rims, Enkie RPO1, Rota's (almost all), BBS RX, Kosie K1's, Lenzo VPD, don't forget the big money wheels like SSR's, Volk, Mugen, etc.
Personally, I think those are some nice looking wheels.

Here's a quick photoshopped pic of them on my car.. didn't have time to "add" some big brakes, but I think these wheels would look good and show off those brakes nicely!! I made them anthracite which is the color that i'd probably powdercoat them.

raSER I personally don't like how they look.

I'd suggest no matter what rims you get go chrome. Or Chrome and a satin finsh combo. Its good for shows plus it would really play off that badass paint job you got. You have the best looking paint on the forum if you ask me bro. Wished my Classic was that color.

Don't get white wheels unless you want to clean them once a day... I would love to trade mine off.

I have 16" SSR comps got em from tire rack very good light weight rim something like 11.6 pounds and the best thing about them is they arent ugly If I were you I would get the SSR GT1 or GT3 lightweight 17'' the recent issue of Sport Compact Car they weighed all the rims so you might wanna get your hands on that issue its got a picture of a red silvia on the cover
