I have a 1992 Sentra SE-R and I was wondering where the coolant temp sensor is located? I'm having trouble with cold starts ever since I replaced my motor with a JDM SR20DE. I think the sensor is the culprit but need to know where it is.

Obviously you didn't change the sensor to a USDM sensor, did you? Only reason I say that is because you don't know where the sensors are.
Basically, find your oil filter/power steering pump, and look around there. There are 2 sensors, one is for your computer. The other is for your gauge cluster. IIRC, it's the sensor on the right (Towards the front of vehicle) that is for the computer.

The one with a plug is for the computer. The one with a blade type conector is for the gauge. It is behind the oil filter, close to the block. There is a pic somewhere on the forum of where they are.

Sorry to bring up a really really old thread, but is it necessary to change my newly swapped JDM coolant temp sensors to the UDSM? I'm not getting any reading on my dash gauge, so any help would be great. thanks guys.
