Anyone here run a special alignment on the classic se-r?

I went to my first auto-x and someone there said the biggest things you can do to a stock car is good tires, and an agressive alignment setup.

Try max negative camber in front (nothing to adjust really except for loosening some bolts to get rid of some slop). I always ran zero toe all the way around, but you can put in a bit of toe *out* on either end. More toe in back = more tail-happiness. More toe in front = a bit better steering response.

Er, I think that is backwards. Toe-out in the front for better steering response/turn-in. Toe-out in the back will increase oversteer but it is generally not a good idea for anything other than autox (ie street or track).

Try 1/8" to 1/4" total toe out in the front (1/16" to 1/8" each side). Zero toe in the back.

Slow-SER didn't have it backwards. When he says "more toe in front" he means "more toe [out] in front".

You are both correct in other words.
