I have H&R springs on my Classic. The drop is very nice. I have blown struts so I have not enjoyed the full potential of the springs. If you are looking for a nice drop they are good.

Hey guys, I don't want to bust in here and *** anyone's suspension, but have you taken a look at the new springs I'm having made for our cars? All of the aftermarket springs available up to now have too low of a spring rate to deal with the amount of suspension drop they provide.

I have ProKits on my car now with new AGX's and while the car looks damn good at that ride height, the springs are *way* too soft. Thankfully the AGX's are able to dampen the ProKits better than Tokico blues which I had years ago on my other SE-R with the Eibachs. That combination was nothing but bouncy and floaty, and the damn shocks bottomed out on nearly every sharp bump and dip. Even though the car looked great lowered, after a month of swerving around potholes, and creaping over speedbumps and driveway entrances, I paid to have the ProKits removed, and put my stock springs back on.

It's damn hard to find a listing for spring rates for the Eibachs/Intrax/H&R, etc. but I know that they're all very similar. Our cars have very little suspension travel, and will actually ride and handle better with a stiffer spring. Don't want to take my word for it? Read what Kojima had to say aboutthe new springs, and do a search on Ground Controls. You'll find that 300# front / 200# rears work great on our cars.

Please take a look here

and consider upgrading your springs (and shocks if necessary).

And in case anyone's wondering, I'm not making any money from this deal, I just put it together because I didn't want to deal with the price or hassles of coilovers.

Cheers,
Chris

i had intrax on my 3000gt. the drop was 1.75" but it settled at around 2" after a mont or so. just something to keep in mind, since i've heard bad, bad things about dropping a sentra to much.

Hey Seb, just wanted to let you know if you decide on getting the GC w/AGX, I ordered the same thing directly from GC assembled for $836 shipped to Brampton, Ont. (it was $819 before shipping). So it should be approx. near that price if you were to order from them directly as well. Just thought I'd let you know to get an idea of package price. Oh yeah, I'm assuming there will be a tariff charge when it crosses over the border, but I haven't received it yet so I don't know how much it will be. Hope that helps.

PS. GC recommended to use a 350/300 spring rate combo for my car, street driven.

It should fit, the H&R are a straight swap for your stock springs. You just have to use the stock strut tops and bumpstops (or get the koni bumpstops, and/or get the motvational rear strut mounts if you want). What is the price difference for the GCs as compared to the H&R that you can find/know of?

340$ for the H&R race-Tax not included.
about 750$ for the GC-Tax included
thats in Can money

As a student,the H&R are more affordable,for now..

That's true, I almost forgot how expensive school can be!!! I would say go for the H&R then, they should look good with a 1.5/1.4 drop. Do the NXs have a larger wheel gap up front as the B14s? For that price, thats not too bad. Goddam taxes though!!!!!
