I have a Protech log manifold with and SC61 turbo, bolting to a 54C DET installed in my B13. For some reason the radiator and the turbo are touching, making it a really tight fit. Ive seen alot of people around the forum with the same manifold and similar turbos, are their any modifications required to make things fit? My project is on pause until I find a solution...

Any help is welcomed...

Is it a new Pro-tech manifold designed for the SC61?

I don't see how it isn't fitting. The SC61 is just another T3/T04E turbo unless you got the bigger compressor housing.:squint:

Trust me, Im tellin my buddy the same thing, its gotta fit. I've seen it on your car Manny and Robs car when he had the 54C in his B13, plus countless of other throughout the forum. Im gonna try bending the radiator bracket to give the radiator a gangsta lean or grind down the turbo flange...

Any better suggestion please respond...

If I wasnt stuck in Otown I would be able to help attend to the issue, but for right now all I can do is offer my buddy suggestions... He's a perfectionist and doesnt want to alter anything if unneeded, so resond with any ideas, experiences..

sagged or damaged motor mounts? Poorly repaired prior crash damage?

That's great, but did you specify whether or not you had the 5 bolt housing or 4 bolt housing? These housings put the turbos in different spots.

For example, when my manifold was ordered by someone (not me), it was ordered for a 5 bolt housing instead of a 4 bolt and when I put my 4 bolt turbo on there, it contacted the head.

So, you may have a 4 bolt manifold with a 5 bolt housing. Did you buy this new, or from someone else on the forum?

could use pusher fans instead of puller fans.

The problem isnt the fans, its the radiator/support.
