Call for help from Australia...

Almost 10 years ago I won my class (2wd under 2L) in the NSW State Rally Championship driving a Datsun 1600 (P510).

Full of enthusiasm I imported an N15 Pulsar (Almera) FWD from Japan to build into a faster rally car... that was 1998, and the car is still not finished...

Here in Australia there doesn't seem to be much knowledge of these cars and motors outside of the High Performance workshops that Charge $$$$ for work and are reluctant to give any advice...

I have tried trawling the threads here to get information, but it is time consuming and often ultimately unsuccessful...

I am hoping that there is someone on here who knows all there is to know about these motors and cars that I can ask questions and get easy answers...

Any volunteers???

Currently, the car has;

SR20DE from a 97 NX Coupe (High Port)
5 Speed with LSD from a U13 Bluebird
Sprung Centre brass button Clutch
U12 Pintara front hubs (Drive shafts modified to suit)
U13 Bluebird SSS front Brakes
R31 Skyline rear brakes
Proflex suspension
Full CrMo roll cage
Autronic SMC ECU.
Manifold Back custom exhaust (no Cat converter)

I changed the cams, and modded the Hydraulic Lifters to be solid, but can not find info on how to adjust the lifter height or where I can get lash pads (retainers, shims) locally.
