I must say that the temperment of this list and the SE-R list are actually getting out of hand. Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. Stating an opinion is one extreme, stating a fact is another. I've seen discussions ranging from JWT SUCKS; don't swap a SR20 into that ricey XE, who was ripped off, and many other ego laden topics I choose not to get into. In the last month or so, I've read many posts where others are quick to down someone's throat simply based on an opinion. Calling someone a dick or an asshole because of their opinion is not warranted. I do also feel that when someone posts their thoughts (fact or opinion), do it in a non-condescending tone.

Do you guys want this to become just another internal-import-bashing-style forum where everyone simply is against each other because of a differnece of opinion? We are all here to learn from each others experiences. If one guys likes one thing and it works for them, perfect. That same guy should report his factual findings, and leave it at that. Don't bash another product just because you've had a productive breakthrough experience. It's your choice.

The term "Rice" tends to be used rather loosely on this forum. If someone has a different style other than stock, everyone is quick to jump on the rice calling bandwagon.

Everyone on this forum has a connection to the SR20 platform. We simply choose different routes of performance and style. Quit the damn name calling and just get along. Damn.

I agree with all you guys too. This site is here for people to gather and spread information. The only reason why I go to this site so much is because everyone is friendly. I hope it stays like that.

the sr20 forum is nothing compared to the G2IC (generation 2 integra club) forum. my roommate put up a picture of his integra with his new body kit and carbon fiber hood, and he got flamed so much. i think within a day or two, he got 150 posts with maybe 75% of it being haters. this forum is nothing like that.

but i do agree on not hating. NO MORE HATERS... please...:D

I agree too. The only thing is, if we stick to important and interesteing topics... There actually will be no bashing, no "rice" topics, and less frustation. But even though we say this now and ppl agree. There is always someone that wants to call someone a "rice boy" or call ur car "a piece" or something or other. And those opinions dont count. So if we stick to topic and talk smart, its all good... :D

It's refreshing to see such great attitudes regarding this particular post. We all have a common accord (no pun intended) on this post. It is wringing out the most of our SR20 platform. Not everyone has the same mechanical skill level, technical inclination, driving experience and especially income. We all modify our cars based on our learned knowledge and income. There are no equal playing fields. That's the point of this list. If I don't know something in particular, guess where I go? Right here, or the SE-R list. This may show my age and all, but I've been modifying cars for more than half of my life. Do I have experiences that I don't mind sharing, hell no. If I can save someone a headache knowing I've already failed at the same attempt, I would gladly help. That's the bottom line. Helping each other out. One problem presents many different solutions to solve it. No one person is right. Some of you love JWT, others love standalones. Some love stock exteriors, others love bodykits. I love Halle Berry....(my fault) wrong topic.
Anyway, let's try to communicate in a more mature fashion without all of the name calling. This should apply to everyone from the Moderators down to the Newbie. Some will teach and many will learn.
Love, peace and hairgrease.

Even though I am SR20 Less I still hang out here becasue it is a good mesage board without a lot of the BS. There were some Honda Message boards I got on that flamed me for driving a Miata. No one here has done anything close to that here on this board. I respect everyone here that gives respect where respect is deserved. B15 Board is not as good as this one, so I dont post on there...

I hope this doesnt get to eb a POS board like some of them. But there are good people here who will try their hardest to keep it nice.

Thanks

Danny

Yes I couldn't agree with you more Big Boost. In my effort to raise the maturity level around here. I will no longer be typing GeTtO tAlK (although I rarely did it anyway) I also changed my user name to reflect a more adult side of myself. The put downs and trash talking has to stop. It really makes all of us look bad.

We can all do our part to make this a better place. I believe posting in a mature fashion will encourage most others to do it as well.

Still would like to meet you one day Big Boost (Rob is it?) I have to see that car! Ya big GN Killer!
