Why is the search function disabled? Does it have anything to do with that old topic being brought up?

I assume it's disabled in order to lighten the load on Matt's server. It's a small price to pay (hopefully temporarily) to have the Forum back up and running.

I've also noticed that I'm not getting email alerts on the topics I'm subscribed to, although I am getting email when I have a Private Message.

Have you noticed that the board is running allot better today?
